As a Coordinator, Procurement, you provide support and coordination to the Procurement team by performing administrative and back-office duties. So what do you do every day? You will use your analytical skills to perform special projects such as data analysis for scheduled reports for senior management, master eProcurement, –AMC’s third-party purchase order system and handle confidential details about project research for internal associates and external guests and vendors. Whew! What does all that mean? Let's break it down into your soon-to-be responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert on eProcurement system and primary back-up source for all support and execution of daily procedures handling for BizTalk.
- Mine Data Warehouse for predetermined reports required to support programs (product usage, catalog cleansing, program compliance, etc.).
- Manage and update the Procurement Project Tracking report to ensure department stays on track, record disruptions/scope changes that side track projects.
- Communicate with theatres about day-to-day requirements, track new program successes/failures, conduct surveys, summarize and report, manage Home Office requirements for new product research.
- Support the Director and Manager by creating a central filing system to include all categories housing each body of work (RFI/RFP/RFQ) supplier information, meeting minutes, historical data for easy retrieval, departmental budget tracking, etc.
- Assist the Director and Manager by providing new supplier opportunities, new program opportunities.
- Provide on-site training for internal associates to use CS/AMC IM, instruct theatres on use of system, advise other departments of changes, enhancements and re-training.
- Schedule meetings, book meeting rooms, produce copies of agendas, take notes, recap, summarize and distribute.

All candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Posses an associate’s degree or higher.
- Two years of operations experience
- Multiple years of experience in a support environment for multiple locations with a strong understanding of customer service skills that includes problem recognition solution and follow-up to ensure guests, vendors and associates are satisfied.
- Analyze data and report it consistently for distribution to department heads
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times when dealing with guests, vendors and associates.
- Keep strict confidentiality when necessary in a professional manner when dealing with suppliers and guests in general
- Produce professional, clear and consistent written communication to internal/external customers via memos, email, facsimiles, etc.
- Take direction and follow instruction when necessary.
- Work independently with initiative while functioning well in a team environment.
- Function under pressure and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities efficiently.
- Interact with senior management, external vendors and guests in a tactful and effective manner.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, including ability to analyze data.
- Be assertive in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Consistent, effective written and verbal communication skills.
